Continuing the procession of a match every three or so days Celtic go home for the first time since the Robbie Keane signing to play Hearts.
In last Sunday’s very early morning cup match, Celtic came out 4-2 winners over Dunfirmline. Goals from players who were not with the team in December were the order of the day as Rasmussen (2), Kamara and Keane all scored goals against the Pars.
Now a return to league play has second place Celtic playing 6th place Hearts. Hearts will apparently be without Jose Goncalves who is being benched by Jim Jeffries for not signing a contract. Celtic are watching Glenn Loovens (concussion symptoms), Shaun Maloney (Gerry’s dislike), Andreas Hinkel (ankle), and Jos Hooiveld (hamstring). The Pars match saw the return of new captain Scott Brown to the lineup and from the injury list.
In the last 6 league matches Celtic have won 4 and lost two while Hearts have won 1, tied 1 and lost 4.
I hope to see everyone there tomorrow assuming we all do not die in the impending snowmageddon part II.
